Website Design and Development

Your website is your digital storefront. You want to make sure that you’re getting the best first impression.

Your customer is likely going to see this before they see you.

  • That’s going to be your call and your call alone. The best way to know is: is your site doing what you want it to do? Maybe you have products you want to sell — are they selling? Is the data showing that customers are interacting with your site in ways you want them to? If you’re curious about where to start, get in touch and we can send some pointers.

  • Well, that depends on what your customer needs to know about your site. Some sites can have 10 pages. Some have 100. Bottom line: you want any website to tell your story and offer a “conversion action”, whether that be subscribing to your newsletter, purchasing your product, routing traffic to social media, or a simple contact form.

  • Ab-so-lutely. There are several content management systems (CMSs) out there that make it really easy to put up your own site. I come in to provide a holistic view of your strategy (or help to create a strategy) for your business, and then develop a site that works best to accomplish your goals.

Here’s How We Do It

  • Research

Let me hear a little bit more about what you’re trying to accomplish. What about competitors or other sites you admire? Is there a color scheme you like, or brand photos you want to include? We set the stage for the whole project and then launch into the execution phase.

  • Execution

This is where a project management background comes in handy. The website is broken down into 3-5 phases depending on the complexity — templating and design set up, core page development, auxiliary page set up, external system integration, optimization, etc.

  • Maintenance

As much as we wish we could set it and forget it, your site is going to need to be consistently watched, maintained, and updated. This can either be done by your team or ours — it depends on how much time you’ve got to dedicate to your digital storefront.
