Maker Bee Pricing

As a small-business and solopreneur consultant, I know that budgets are tight. Each dollar you give me is one less that you give yourself or your business.

All of my pricing is dependent on need and available budget. You tell me your goals and the timeframe, and I’ll give you an estimate. Should that not work, we can always move things around to fit.

Let’s Talk Money

The old adage rings true: fast, best, cheap — you get to pick two. We can work tirelessly to get your SEO boosted up 50 spots in a quarter, but I’ll need to bring in additional resources. We can not bring in extra people to keep cost down, but then it’s not guaranteed that you’ll get to those spots. Or we can make it two quarters instead of one.

  • This is the core service of Maker Bee Consulting. We schedule hour meetings on a weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly cadence and work together to manage your projects while meeting your goals.

    Business Consulting: $100 per meeting

  • Maybe you’re an expert content producer but don’t know how to optimize. Maybe you’ve never understood SEO but you’re recognizing people aren’t making it to your site. Maybe you need help pumping through content. In any case, we start with an audit and go from there.

    SEO/Content Audit: Starting at $250.00*

    *dependent on website size/need

  • Possibly one of the most complicated quoting processes, this will depend on what kind of site you’re trying to build. Marketing site with a few pages? Ecommerce site with hundreds of products? Built on Squarespace vs Webflow vs WordPress? It all moves the needle dramatically.

Website Design and Development: Let’s chat, because every project is very different

  • Most of my clients work with me on an ongoing basis. 80% of the invoices I send out are tailored to specific company needs, and the pricing model is tailored as such. I make sure to meet my clients where they’re at and find the pricing that works best for them.

Pricing FAQs

What is a discovery audit and why do you charge for it?

An audit is the first process for almost every client I take on. It allows me to look under the hood and assess the current state of your digital presence so I know the best way to move forward.

I charge for it because it takes time and expertise to complete! I, like you, am a small business owner and my time is valuable. You’ll get insights and action items on how to improve with a roadmap for improvement.

Can I take your audit and make fixes myself? Or hire someone else to make the fixes?

Absolutely. The audits are non-commital, so you can take the information provided there and do whatever you want with it.

As the person who wrote the audit, I’ll be able to make the fixes faster with more accuracy since I know each corner of your site and digital presence. Ultimately, I want you and every single client to have the most success possible, no matter what that means.

Is there an hourly option?

Ab-so-lutely. Retainers are a great way to buy my time and make sure that we’re strategically moving forward each and every month in accordance with a success roadmap (while putting convenient caps for budgetary reasons). Not to mention, retainers are the beneficiary of discounts that are not offered with hourly billing.

However, some people like the idea of a hired gun and want to attack each action item on an as-needed basis. Start with a call and we can talk through the best options.

I’m worried about committing because my revenue fluctuates and I can’t promise I’ll be able to afford you each and every month.

Listen: I’m a solopreneur. I totally get it, because I’m in the same boat. Our contracts are month-to-month, meaning you can suspend or cancel services with a 30-day notice. I’ve had clients who needed to make large investments and they pause services for a few months while they recuperate, then come back and pick up where we left off. No problemo — what works for you works for me.
